Oklahomans talk, text more than most

Check out this recent report from Nielsen.com that shows Oklahomans to be among the top seven states in the U.S. for citizens who text. Oklahomans send more than 600 text messages per month.

NEWSOK covered the story earlier this week:

"Oklahomans are very open to trying new technologies, and they always want the latest applications and want the latest technology on their cell phones," Morgan said. "There's just a real hunger here for wireless communications."

Oklahomans who live in rural areas also are active cell phone users, Morgan said.

"It's not just urban," he said. "It's every small town, small city in our service area where we see that kind of demand."
