Metro Fire Chiefs show support for Broadband for First Responders Act

The Central Oklahoma Metro Fire Chiefs Association voted unanimously last week to ask Oklahoma Congressman Tom Cole to cosponsor H.R. 5081, the Broadband for First Responders Act. This bill will ensure that public safety organizations have the necessary spectrum to develop a nationwide interoperable public safety wireless broadband network that will be necessary to implement Next Generation 9-1-1 technology.
