Okarche resident donates fire trucks to Luther's Volunteer Fire Department

Oklahoma City's KWTV/News9 that the Luther Fire Department has received a generous gift from the wife of  an Okarche business owner who liked to collect big trucks.

You may recall, Luther recently competed for a new fire truck in an online contest, but lost out to a volunteer fire department in Alabama, Owens Cross Roads.

The truck pictured right (by Jack Snell via Flickr) is a 1962 firetruck, similar to the one the Luther Fire Department has been using. One of the trucks they've received is 30 years newer.

Congratulations, Luther!
